Domestic EICR

While an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) isn’t a legal requirement for domestic home-owners, it’s recommended that a relevant inspection and report is commissioned every ten years. The inspection itself and the information contained within can bring peace of mind to the owner, because it’s so important to know that electrical systems and appliances are working properly and safely.

Here at VF Electrical Services, we carry out EICR inspections for a great many domestic, commercial and industrial customers right across Scotland. We’re NICEIC approved, extremely thorough in our approach and we’re happy to discuss your options should there be any issues that arise from our findings. You need clear, concise information and constructive advice, and that’s exactly what we provide.

Some domestic homes should be inspected more often than every ten years. They include older properties in which the wiring could be more open to deterioration, those homes which are more prone to adverse weather and environmental conditions and others which have been subjected to structural damage or vandalism. And of course you can book an inspection at any time if you have concerns of your own about the condition of your electrics.

As well as bringing you peace of mind, an inspection can sometimes offer an early warning of an issue that could become serious if left unattended. In some cases, this could end up saving you a significant sum of money. To find out more about an EICR for your home, call our team today on 01382 699 550.
